Rain isn't always something to be stressed about when it comes to NE weddings.. as well the weather will do what it wants and there's nothing we can do but make the best of of it ladies, which is exactly what Holly & Erik did! Huge smiles and a new plan in place we played on both sides of Belle Mer and took full advantage of the light misty rain and the bright interiors of both venues. So you spring brides stressing over the forecasts... just relax and make the best out of anything your day brings as it'll still be PERFECT!!
Holly & Erik had a beautiful clean pallet of ivory with hints of taupe/chocolate and green with a classic style... take a peak! |

Fine Catering by Russell Morin, Flowers by Semia, the Botanical Gardens and our studio had gotten together over a year ago to do a "mock wedding" setup for the new venue at Roger Williams Park. It had to be the most incredible decor perfectly suited for the space - it came together beautifully & helped brides to visualize their weddings their.
***I had recently had a bride email me asking about images of the venue and decided it was time to revisit this shoot so that it was on the new blog too! Enjoy!! |

Amy & Eric were able to take full advantage of the Botanical Gardens in Providence. The greenhouse for their cocktail reception & tent for dinner and dancing! They lucked out with the perfect fall day to enjoy the setting and playing in Roger Williams park too. Having worked for Russell Morins, Amy & Eric had the "in" on wedding decor and knew exactly how to pull off the most stunning evening with accents of pumpkin floral centerpieces and highlighted swags of fabric!! Congrats Amy & Eric!!!

Chelsea & Matthew ~ Red Lion Inn 10-24-08

Chelsea & Matt had a fabulous fall themed wedding with leaf boutonnieres, pumpkin place-card accents, all pulling from a red-green-and orange warm tone pallet. The decor was great and made for such a warm and romantic evening & the setting was perfect too! The quant NE white church, the Red Lion Inn Barn setting.. and the blue boats we found down by the water made for a really fun contrasting backdrop [ which you all know I'm always on the lookout for!] You'll notice the pumkins also have stamps from around the world to pull in the couples love to travel - a great detail which "Kiana & Brian" one of my '06 couples had also used to tie in their love of travel to the wedding decor! It's always great to see how couples can add twists like this to the wedding planning to really make it uniquely their own! ~ The orange socks helped in that aspect too guys!!

| Melissa Sweet was showing lots of great TEXTURE in the designs this season, with extra beading, tulle, floral accents and bows! Pockets are always a great hidden element whether a bridal gown or BM's dress. Colors you'll notice more this season too are blush, charcoal & gold. |

Tiphany & Matthew ~ Newport Art Museum 11-8-08

Tiphany & Matt's wedding was FULL of personality and stylin' accents! With a crisp color pallet of purple & black..mixed with vintage fashion inspirations and dramatic decor.. it was visually fantastic and even more fun to just be a part of!
They had an intimate affair minus the traditional scheduling - which allowed their personalities to really dictate not only the decor and designs but the whole flow of the event. Tiphany, I have to mention is a FAB designer and designed all their accents and paper products - which inspired the cake design too!
Through the misty rain and chilly November temps, Steve Mason and I (from our Associate Shooting team) had a BLAST with Tiphany & Matt and all their friends. Congrats guys!!!
