With Facebook … Twitter and so much social media/marketing.. what do you follow? It seems Twitter is greatly used on the West-Coast not as much on the East-Coast from what research I’ve done in talking with clients and magazine publishers but there is clearly a lot of “tweeting” in RI – I’m amazed! GoLocalProv.com recently [June 21st, 2010] came out with their “The Big Chart : RI’s 50 Top Tweeters” …. guess who made it on the top 50 of RI’s most influential tweeters?!? Check it out below.

Ines Di Santo ~ NYC Part I

June 29th, 2010 | Fashion and Editiorial

Ines Di Santo’s gowns are Haute Couture and define brides who think more is more and revel in drama and details. Each dress is crafted under Ines’ supervision and each individual one must be perfection before it is passed onto her brides. There are ballgowns, minis, and dresses that just sparkle in this collection! Feathers, and bows, and ruffles and pickups, every dress has something special and some even have little surprises… Take a look!

The train on this dress is so ethereal! She looks as if she is floating down the aisle! Beautiful.

Now this is a micro mini with SASS! Feathers and beads and covered buttons, no area of this dress was left without embellishment.

WOW, look at this ballgown! All of that beading is so intricate and the lushness of the skirt…amazing!

Stay tuned tomorrow for more dramatic dresses from Ines Di Santo!

Save-The-Dates ????

June 28th, 2010 | Uncategorized

Clients are trying to get more inspired now it seems – keeping up on all the stylish blogs and wedding sites.. naturally their is always a common goal it seems too! – What can get THEM featured in a magazine! So brides are asking me all the time for cool ideas and concepts.. So in the midst of all the wedding editing I have going on I wanted to quickly revisit a few of our past brides ideas – memorable details I surely never forgot and I’m sure have left their guests reminiscing for years of “that incredible event”!

An idea Jared and I had a few years back for invites to our Brides-Night party and then for our Vegas renewal was Viewfinder Invites! LOVE LOVE LOVE this concept – but at the time it still wasn’t practical [ which mind you normally doesn't stop Jared] however Laura … Pat have made this work for their SaveTheDate this year and I am in LOVE all over again with this concept! Check out below for more fun ideas to get you inspired!

Karen … Tom’s Origami sailboat SaveTheDate with the cute “lifesaver” detail … Maps lining the box it arrived in.

Not a SaveTheDate but some other cute details to inspire you with your paper … invite projects!

Kiana … Brian had the incredible stamped escort cards that brides have been stalking for several years now…which carried through their “travel theme”. Some couples have color themes, others none at all.. but it’s always sweet to see the details carried through on a great theme or concept!

Karen … Tom, like Kiana … Brian, had a travel inspired design theme since it was a destination affair! Incorporating a luggage box to hold their invites which was safely tucked inside as a custom passport!

Karen … Tom’s Escort cards were compasses – simply the coolest!

Another compass detail – Sarah … Dan used for their escort cards too!

Laura … Pat’s Viewfinder details below!! So FUN!!!

Felice … David’s GIANT engraved DIAMOND save-the-date … doubles as a great paper weight for friends too :)

Alright ladies so the BAR has been set high… get inspired for your own details and make them YOU and unique to your personalities… put a twist in their to leave your guests in awe … me drooling to take more pictures!!

Felecia & Steven ~ Providence EG session

June 27th, 2010 | Uncategorized

Gondola Engagement Session – so perfect for Felecia … Steve!! Felecia is one of those lucky ladies who’s “in the industry” with corporate, wedding … special events … so it’s always I think 10 times harder for industry couples to plan their own event having seen so may hundreds of others… so I CAN’T WAIT to see how they transform Rosecliff Mansion into their own for their July wedding…. countdown is REALLY on now Felecia!!!

Headed back to catch up on some Part II”s in the midst of letting you all view our photos from Fashion Week and sneak peeks at recent weddings!

Christen and Michael had a bright and vibrant wedding at the Island House at Belle Mer! So cool because they actually paired each course with a complimentary wine and had a sommelier give a brief description to guests. You can view Part I HERE. Christen and Michael followed up the multi course dinner with a candy and dessert bar with mini cupcakes and dessert cocktails in lieu of traditional wedding cake. This fabulous, wine pairing, elegant affair was so fun and unique!

More from the Roth siblings, Michelle and Henry! Really great variety, from sultry and sexy to frilly and fun, this collection was such eye candy! Love how much ivory and off white was used in this collection as well, making it even more versatile to buyers.

Here are Michelle and Henry. You can almost tell at glancing at them that they are such opposite personalities, but they blend so well!

Michelle Roth & Henry Roth~NYC Part I

June 23rd, 2010 | Uncategorized

Michelle and Henry Roth are a brother and sister design duo who create the most amazing collections by putting the best part of their opposite personalities into a creative collaboration that is nothing short of sensational! Australian born New Yorkers, Michelle adds the refined poise and Henry adds the the unexpected modern twists, and what develops is a line every bride can relate to!

An absolute favorite was this perky and fun polka dot gown! Michelle Roth made brides worldwide swoon when she released a tea length polka dot beauty a few years back, and this updated version, in full length, is just as big a treat!

Lots of belts in this collection, whether fabric, or ribbon, or beading! Accentuating the smallest part of your waist with a belt is a surefire way to look even more gorgeous in your gown!

This crumb-catcher top added just a touch of avant garde drama. Love it!

All the FAB hairpins and veils used in the collection complimented the dresses so well!

Stay tuned for the second half of this show tomorrow!
