Laura and Bobby had a fantastic event at the Providence Biltmore in June.  We adore the Biltmore – it is such a landmark in Rhode Island, and the ballroom is so elegant…it is the perfect room to adorn with beautiful uplighting and florals! ..not to mention Scott makes every wedding complete! Laura and Bobby selected rich and regal purple and blue tones and Flowers by Semia created amazing designs for the event.  Brightly colored lighting from Ormonde Productions finished the room decor & set the mood..also helping to showcase the Biltmore’s tradition of serving Berrries Flambe with dessert!  I loved Laura’s idea for exiting her church, too!  Wands with brightly colored ribbons for guests to wave as she and Bobby escaped into their antique car and made their way to the city for formals & the evening festivities. Oh wait that’s not all!! – When the reception was all over the night was still young as the wedding party & guests climbed to the 18th floor for the after party which certainly helped the party continue!

The finale of Lisa and Matt’s chic and stylish weekend of events was brunch and croquet at the Newport Tennis Hall of Fame!  Bloody Mary’s and bright turquoise set the stage for an afternoon of fun, mingling with guests before the couple headed off on their honeymoon!  Cheery daisies and a super cheerful group!  What a great way to say “bon voyage!”.  Lisa and Matt had a ton of fun perfecting their croquet skills and looked just so adorable while doing so.  

Rosecliff is such a dramatic backdrop for elegant, classic weddings!  The touches Matt and Lisa put on their day were vibrant and modern and totally POPPED against the stately mansion!  Bright magenta bridesmaids dresses and flowers perfectly complimented Lisa’s Pnina Tornai gown!  Love their style!

Lisa and Matt had an amazing 3 day wedding weekend that we happily joined them for!  A gorgeous sail on Narragansett Bay on the Schooner Aurora and then a clambake at Regatta Place, followed by an elegant wedding day at Rosecliff Mansion, and a farewell brunch at the Newport Tennis Hall of Fame!  We were so excited to capture all the moments of this beautiful weekend of events!  Here are some highlights from their rehearsal dinner, including fantastic out of town bags for guests, complete with del’s lemonade!  The nautical blue stripes and yellow napkins were a very New England touch!  Stay tuned this week for more details from the rest of their events…

The transfer of the old blog to the NEW site has hidden the opening color shots from each post, though do not panic as all those images are still there, but to get some color back on the opening pages & the FUN I thrive on .. we needed a teaser post of what’s still to come on this typically VERY COLORFUL blog!
