Brenda and Ed had met in highschool, however she was only a freshman and he was a senior, so a short lived romance ensued due to their gap in age and Ed heading off to Columbia. About 10 years later, Brenda heard a familiar voice in line at a restaurant, and tapped the man on the shoulder, when he turned around, she saw it was Ed! Six years of dating later, the couple took an anniversary trip to Newport and stayed at Castle Hill. Though Ed had always sworn he would never propose on a holiday, birthday or anniversary, Brenda still held a little hope when they dined at Castle Hill’s romantic restaurant. No ring at dinner, they headed back to their room and Ed handed Brenda a lovely letter, proposing to her after all…and because my words couldn’t be more sweet, Brenda says, “Less than a year later, it all came back full circle and we got married at Castle Hill. I not only married my first boyfriend and my first kiss, but also my high school sweetheart.” A foggy early fall evening in Newport was the most perfect backdrop for photos, every one looking dreamy and ethereal. Such a special day! Congrats Brenda and Ed!
