Holly & Michael :: Glen Manor House Portsmouth, RI

June 9th, 2012 | Weddings

Holly & Michael had a big hit with heat and a wedding on July 22, 2011! After meeting at work the couple hit it off within months and were inseparable since! After Michael proposed the bride, Holly, took the challenge upon herself of coordinating her own wedding. The couple flaunted a rustic themed wedding at the Glen Manor House. They wanted to maintain that New England feel and incorporated that into their wedding!

The ceremony theme colors were navy blue and fuchsia. Bridesmaids wore Priscilla of Boston Navy Blue short dresses and the groomsmen wore Fuchsia Ties from Alfani with suspenders underneath their jackets!Part of the beauty of coordinating her own wedding was that Holly was able to create her own personal touches like the moss covered letters, the wedding invitations, and the idea of the ores as a wedding book for guests to sign!

For the reception the Bride made the theme colors change to sage green, light pink, peach and ivory for a subtle descend into the night! (PS take a peak at the upper left window in the picture above!)

“We were really inspired by the beautiful simplicity of Glen Manor House. It is very elegant, but in a very natural way. The grounds display natural beauty at its best, and we planned our decor to accent the simple beauty of the venue.”“The first vendor I booked was Kristin Spencer (2 years prior to the wedding), and it was the best decision I could have made. Before I was even engaged I was admiring her wedding photos. Kristin and Jared are both so nice and easy-going! They got some great shots at our wedding, and we still had plenty of time to rejoin cocktail hour and mingle with our guests.”

Deana & Christopher :: Las Vegas, NV

June 1st, 2012 | Weddings

Deana & Chris renewed their vows VEGAS style this past October, after having been there 5 years earlier when they wed in Providence RI with an elaborate wedding at The Federal Reserve.. it was a must to tag along to Vegas! Jared and I had helped in the research department knowing the Little White Weddign Chapel & Tunnel of Love worked beautifully for our vow renewal in 2008.. it was another must stop for the perfectly cheesy backdrop for a truly meaningful Renewal.

It’s funny how we all plan these lovely weddings and then it’s all over.. life continues.. but really don’t we all NEED to be allowed to relive the wedding again.. and maybe again! I’ll admit when we ourselves renewed our vows with friends and family all in tow .. it was only that moment when the officiant was performing our vows that it really set in that we were marrying each other again.. and just how much that in fact meant.. as well I had gotten a little caught up in the Vegas party planning! So for Deana and Chris this was truly about the vows and marrying each other once again.. re-committing themselves 5 years later after Avery came along and “life” and knowing that they loved each other even MORE now then 5 years ago.. I really do love the business we are a part of and begin able to experience these memories with all of you .. even round 2, 3, 4?!?

With only a few of their closest friends in attendance it was so intimate and sweet.. well then again anything & everything is always sweetened with Deana and her sparkling smile, personality, shoes and OH WHAT A BOUQET…can we discuss the pure vegas”ness” of this little hot pink bit of bridal joy lol … love how proudly you held it Deana!!!

Congratulations Chris & Deana yet again on your life together & with Princess Avery! .. and just for kicks I’ve included a few shots from back in 2006!!

I should mention that Deana’s bouquet & florals below were all by  Flowers by Semia!
