Alicia’s Boston Engagement Session is the PERFECT contrast to the wedding she’s planning on Martha’s Vineyard for the spring.. and we can’t WAIT to see how her inspirations and ideas all come together!! Alicia.. so LOVED this oh so cute blue dress on you!
One of my favorite questions to ask couples when we meet or during an engagement session is “How did you meet?” .. or the story behind THEM… I love hearing the background story and we were so excited to see this LOVESTORY film that Artistic Wedding Video made for Krissy & Joe’s wedding this past Sunday in Newport.. makes me wish Jared & I had one of these for ourselves! Take a few minutes and watch this as it’s really funny and cute!
Engagement sessions .. to do or not to do? Right, yes we’ve been here before and I will say some do and some don’t – but either way I have such a great time shooting them and getting a chance to chill with clients! This past sundays PROJO {Providence Journal} had a great article that was written by staff writer Jenna P. that covered the new trends in Engagement sessions and we were happy to participate in the story! So coming off that article I had just processed this session today while editing away and thought it appropriate to blog a few teasers from this Martha’s Vineyard EG session I shot recently with Andrea & Stephen.

Oh la la.. who did we see grace the pages of The Knot’s Wedding Obsessions {blog} today?! Sean & Kristen!! Mind you we still need to blog their July wedding but this is a fun way to make us jump on that! With the wedding less then 2 wks away, Stephanie MUST be getting excited – I know I am!! Stephanie, some of you ladies may even know or may have spoken with her before, she works in our fun NE wedding industry at Flowers by Semia !! I’m so excited to be shooting her very Eco meets industrial styled Belle Mer event… she’s teased me with the promise of many succulents [ WHICH I LOVE!!] ..oh I can’t wait ti post teasers after the wedding but till then engagement pics will do! Notice the succulents on her FAB dress?!? .. this session is FULL of COLOR!!!
Engagement sessions are playful sessions to take advantage of both for us to get to know you guys better but for you to get some fun imagery of your own style – which Jeff … jill definitely took advantage of! They purchased retro style bikes to use for their shoot and that paired with some fabulous and cute outfits – we had a blast!
A TIP for engagement sessions – ladies wear something fun, flirty and fabulous = as you’ll feel incredible and your pictures will be that much more glowing and playful! Yay!
Erica … Ronnie managed to find a sunny day amidst all the rain we had early summer for their engagement shoot…however the rain sprinkled over us Saturday when they were married this weekend. No worries theirs always a fun shot in the rain! [ such a tease as you'll have to wait for those!] But here’s a peak at their engagement shoot as well as sunday morning during their “Day After”.
