February 6th, 2012 | News, Spotted on the WebRebecca’s beautiful event was scheduled to be blogged next week but we spotted a teaser on Style Me Pretty today-how fun! Congratulations Rebecca & stay tuned for a full blog next week! **The STUDIO will also officially be closed tomorrow through 2/15 while we head to Upstate NY for a wedding at The ArtisanWorks of Rochester, NY .. but several blogs are scheduled to post while we are away to keep you amused!

I’m almost there I believe I have 8 events left and a handful of albums we’re currently playing with as well.. but once caught up be sure to keep a eye on the {blog} as I WILL BE posting entries featuring every amazing event from 2011 at long last! Not ot mention adding some new Featured events to our Web Galleries too .. and 2012 has a better schedule organized for me so that I can keep up to date on all the fun on the internet with our {blog}, FaceBook, Twitter and even now Pinterest! WOW.. and congrats to all the ladies who’ve gotten engaged on this NYEve.. so many new sparkly rings to see! We’ve survived yet another season of gorgeous brides, couples & events.. and are so THRILLED for all those we have to look forward to this year in 2012!

October 14th, 2011 | News, Personal, WeddingsAs Jared is literally on the Lazaro Runway now shooting, I’m editing away and catching up on emails as we are playing catch up with all our recent DESTINATION traveling.. but one very cool bride just put a HUGE smile on my face with an incredibly sweet note she sent me, after inquiring about her wedding date availability.
Jacqueline [2012 bride to be] “…I can’t even tell you how excited I am that you’re available for our wedding! I saw you and a bridal party roaming the streets of Newport 2 years ago and I was so intrigued by the angles you were taking photos at. When you were photographing the couple I ran over and asked one of the bridesmaids for your name and researched your work that night. I can honestly say you were my one and only pick for a photographer! As an event planner I’ve seen a lot beautiful photographs but nothing intrigues me more than you work – it’s original yet classic and elegant. Everything I want and more!”

July 21st, 2011 | Engagements, NewsEngagement sessions .. to do or not to do? Right, yes we’ve been here before and I will say some do and some don’t – but either way I have such a great time shooting them and getting a chance to chill with clients! This past sundays PROJO {Providence Journal} had a great article that was written by staff writer Jenna P. that covered the new trends in Engagement sessions and we were happy to participate in the story! So coming off that article I had just processed this session today while editing away and thought it appropriate to blog a few teasers from this Martha’s Vineyard EG session I shot recently with Andrea & Stephen.

- Plan ahead and pick the season you wish to shoot & play
- Think of hobbies or activities you enjoy or that might show your personalities
- THINK FUN when planning your attire and feel flirty & playful in it
- Complimentary colors when pairing outfits is always sharp & contrast too
…perhaps enjoy a quick cocktail prior lol
