It’s a long week for us! 7 weddings in 9 days, starting this past Friday. We’re still playing catch-up on all our {MY} editing but appreciate everyones patience as we’re just loving everyones event imagery and want it to be perfect! We’ll be closed officially 9/26 for a GLAM Botanical event then jetting off to Cancun Tuesday {way too early!} for Jennifer’s Wedding .. and ten back Friday for several Belle Mer events this coming weekend.. so please just note that due to International travel we will not have access to voicemail or our phones & there will be a delay in email response, however I will try to respond to everyone Friday AM before running off to Belle Mer!

So the spring Daffodils may be gone but it was about time to get Robin … Shane officially blogged at-last, certainly well before their fall wedding at Belle Mer this year! Robin loves color – she’s a bride I can completely relax with and KNOW that things will surely POP at their reception .. can’t wait to see what they come up with!!!

The Priscilla of Boston bridal collection was true simple elegance. Beautiful fabrics and gorgeous laces created a line that was all glamour sprinkled with a bit of tradition. Unique necklines and creative sleeves or straps were used throughout the collection. You can also see how well they pair with the bridesmaids dresses in Part I. Perfect!

Love this sheer shrug, adding a little glitz to the sleeve makes it this dress stand out!

A little short shift dress (oh and the birdcage veil is just adorable!), and just look at that scalloped lace detail on the hemline!

I love this dress. Not a lot of brides do sleeves anymore, but this gown might change some minds out there! Fall or Winter wedding? Adding a 3/4 sleeve jacket or bolero might be just what you are looking for!

Your hair sets your mood very often and can make you feel FABULOUS or like hiding in a closet.. Finding the perfect style for your hair to compliment your gown, event, your face – it’s all so critical to establish the LOOK that will last forever in your pictures. However that being said – your brides maids will be in those pics too!!

We’re not sure where the “do” went wrong but at Claire … Blaise’s wedding in May, Maid of Honor Sarah was the eye candy of the day. You couldn’t keep your eye’s off her! So for that and for enduring the long long day of jokes … mockery – Sarah you win our 1st EVER hair award for an event!

We’ve seen stunning styles and up-do’s, romantic, fresh, messy, perfectly combed… but this took styling in a new direction. Oddly it did compliment her asymmetrical gown … she could totally pull IT off, the somewhat retro meets bow meets a kitty that crawled up to take a nap on her head. We’re still not sure how “I’d like a nice low bun” turned into “…..ummm” but it did. She wasn’t walking on a runway or posing for an editorial piece – she was a maid of honor who was our “where’s Waldo” of formals, trying to balance her hair within the images so it wasn’t too noticeable

So to Miss Sarah – 1st of I think we need to be friends as anyone who could walk around like that all day – and still smile is someone I must know!! 2nd Congratulations for surviving the day, sporting the fantastically odd “do”, and on your wedding day, in a few weeks… Claire may have something special worked out for her own hair – so watch out!

*Blushing* I’m so flattered that Sean … Kristen loved their Engagement session so much that it was used to inspire their wedding cake, table numbers, and their oh-so-cool guest book, this past weekend for their Belle Mer wedding.

Kristen’s Bridesmaid sketch an illustration of what the cake should look like and then Creative Cake Co. transformed it to edible sweetness! 4 Tiers total – with lots of hidden details from our EG session in newport :: the graffiti Newport bridge wall from FireHouse Pizza, the Yellow … Blue awning of the Arcade, Brenton Point rocks, the docks of Banister’s Wharf, the beach and flowers where Sean picked a flower for Kristen’s hair… along with the ladder they climbed on the Lifeguards post, their famous flip flops [ which got washed away], the Private sign from Bowen’s Wharf.. and lastly their sweet blue … pink sunglasses!! So cute!!!!

… and their Custom Queensberry guestbook!! Loving these this year!!! A fun … stylish way to show off your Engagement pics and give your guests something fun to flip through … sign!!

Happy 4th of July ladies!! Enjoy the festivities!! Only one year ago today we were at Belle Mer watching the Newport display with Jenna … Brendon.. now we’re off to The State Room with Christine … Chris!! Enjoy the Fireworks and check our FB page for teasers from today in Boston!!

With Facebook … Twitter and so much social media/marketing.. what do you follow? It seems Twitter is greatly used on the West-Coast not as much on the East-Coast from what research I’ve done in talking with clients and magazine publishers but there is clearly a lot of “tweeting” in RI – I’m amazed!
