Lindsey and Jonathan first met when they attended the same High School but the connection didn’t start there. It wasn’t until after Lindsey graduated college and was working as a special education preschool teacher that she innocently offered Jonathan to shadow her for a day! He later asked her to dinner and they’ve been inseparable since! On a trip to the Bahamas before their four year anniversary, Jonathan popped the question to lead to July 16,2011 where the couple tied the knot at Bell Mer in Newport, RI! 
“If you asked me in high school if I ever thought I’d marry Jonathan, I probably would have laughed and said I’m planning on moving to California, but things have a funny way of working out and I can’t picture my life without him.”
The Bride wore a Adele Wechsler Sunray dress!
“I unexpectedly found the dress at Brides Against Breast Cancer in Boston, which made the experience extra special because my mom is a breast cancer survivor. “
“I’ve always loved the Righteous Brothers’ Unchained Melody, so that’s what my dad and I walked down the aisle to.”
Bridesmaids wore different J Crew dresses in Newport Navy colors with pearl necklaces from J Crew and white floral shoes from Anne Klein!
Theme colors of the day were yellow and newport navy which were incorporated in the flowers, linens and invitations!
Along with the yellow and navy theme, LiveSTRONG bands were the napkin rings in honor of the passing of Jonathans mother.
Favors were sweet treats and LiveSTRONG bracelets for guests!
Lindsey’s first grade students showed what they felt the meaning of marriage was! Advice cards were a cute little way for guests to help out the newly weds and a map was the guest book for all the guests to sign!
