Brett used his midwestern charm on Melissa and swept her off her feet! Four years later he proposed at sunset that lead to May 25, 2012 where the couple tied the knot! The wedding took place at Oceancliff in Newport, RI. They kept the wedding casual yet elegant with a vintage, ralph lauren style theme. Melissa was our Facebook giveaway winner!
Goddaughter of the bride, Bailey, was the flower girl for the big day!
The Brides sisters Emily was Maid of Honor and Amanda was a bridesmaid!
Bridesmaids wore JCREW: Blakely in champagne dresses and the Groomsmen wore black Kenneth Cole suits with white dress shirts, black Calvin Klein ties and black suspenders!
Q. What was your favorite moment or aspect of the day?
A. Bailey, our flower girl holds a few favorites of mine throughout the day but I have two: Walking down the aisle, a nervous wreck!! Then locking eyes with Brett (my dad whispering ” go slow, take it all in, enjoy it”) and knowing that this was it, finally we were getting married!!! My second favorite was sitting at our table prior to dinner and looking around with Brett at all the details, everything was beyond perfect and best of all everyone in that room had come to celebrate Brett + I 
Brett’s brother and wife from California weren’t able to make the ceremony due to the anticipation of the arrival of their baby so they skyped in for the wedding!
Bringing in some midwestern roots, the couple sported their cowboy boots!
The theme colors of the day were black, white, champagne and just a touch of pink here and there!
With a very close, small crowd, Brett and Melissa wanted to make the night memorable and fun with little things like a cigar bar, photo booth and sweets table!
The guests had no problem dancing the night away with the help of Rhythm Productions DJ!
